Windchill Developer

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize Windchill Types & Attributes, Lifecycles, Workflows, and Access Control
• Develop UI extensions using JCA, JSP, and UI policies
• Design RESTful services using Windchill REST Services (WRS) and OData
• Author Info*Engine tasks, queue processors, and adapters
• Execute bulk data migrations for Parts, BOMs, and EPMDocs
• Support MCAD integrations including Creo and AutoCAD
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using Git, Maven, and Jenkins
• Provide L3 support, root cause analysis, and technical documentation

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in PLM
• 2+ years focused on PTC Windchill PDMLink (11.0+)
• Proficiency in Java (JDK 8+), JSP/JCA, XML/XSL, and SQL
• Experience with Info*Engine, Query Builder, and WRS/OData/REST
• Knowledge of Windchill domains: Lifecycles, Workflows, and Access Control
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and basic Linux/Windows administration
• Ability to perform bulk data loading and validation

Preferred Qualifications

• ThingWorx Navigate configuration experience
• Exposure to MPMLink or Options & Variants
• ERP integration experience (SAP)
• Creo / Workgroup Manager customization (JLink / Creo Toolkit API)
• Cloud deployment exposure (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience working in BESS environments
• PTC Windchill certifications
