Windchill – CAD Applications Administrator

Responsibilities

• Maintain Windchill (12.x) including server monitoring, lifecycles, OIRs, and ACLs
• Administer engineering applications such as Creo, AutoCAD, Ansys, and MATLAB
• Manage engineering data standards, templates, and metadata quality
• Oversee publishing and visualization pipelines for Creo View and neutral formats
• Support integrations including WGM, ECAD/MCAD exchange, and ERP handoffs
• Manage FLEXlm license servers, tracking usage and conducting audits
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Collaborate with IT on security, SSO/SAML, and access management
• Plan and execute CAD application upgrades, patches, and hotfixes
• Provide L3 user support for workspace corruption and check-in/out issues
• Support cloud-hosted environments on GCP, Azure, or AWS

Requirements

• 4–6 years in PLM or engineering applications administration
• 3+ years of experience with Windchill and CAD tools (Creo/WGM)
• Proficiency with Creo and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of EPM/WTPart, lifecycles, ACLs, and WVS
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Experience with Windows administration and basic Linux
• Basic SQL querying (Oracle), Query Builder, and QML
• Experience with Creo and Windchill Model check implementation
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or IT

Preferred Qualifications

• PTC Windchill/Creo admin certifications
• Experience with ThingWorx Navigate, MPMLink, or Options & Variants
• Familiarity with REST, WRS, or OData integrations
• Experience with cloud hosting (GCP/Azure) and GPU-based publishing
• Knowledge of Export Control/ECCN/ITAR compliance
