Wind Turbine Technician

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health and Safety policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace
• Perform scheduled maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators including inspection, greasing, cleaning, and torquing
• Apply LOTO procedures
• Conduct electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting
• Implement work procedures to inspect, repair, and maintain Wind Turbine components
• Populate, track, and communicate client and company documentation daily
• Maintain a clean work area, equipment, and tooling

Requirements

• Experience with motors, rotors, drives, gears, or similar
• Experience using hand and power tools including torque tooling
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to travel 80-100% of the time across the US
• Ability to work at heights up to 400 ft
• Ability to lift 23kg (50 lbs)
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and extreme temperatures
• Ability to determine color codes

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Wind Turbine Technician
• LOTO training/certification
• Certifications in Fall Protection/Rescue, NFPA 70E, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR/AED
