Wind Turbine Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and technical inspections of wind turbines, including towers, nacelles, and blades.
• Evaluate the structural state of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Detect faults, wear, corrosion, or damage using specialized techniques such as ultrasound, thermography, and borescope inspection.
• Analyze SCADA system data to identify operational anomalies and performance trends.
• Inspect turbine blades for cracks, erosion, delamination, and lightning protection integrity.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards (LOTO, working at heights, confined spaces) and international regulations (IEC, ISO).
• Prepare detailed technical reports, documenting findings, evidence, and repair recommendations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and supervise repair work or contractor quality.
• Perform high-altitude inspections using rope access systems or elevated platforms.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Energy, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Mexican nationality and current residency in Mexico.
• 5 years of experience in wind energy projects.
• Valid and current GA25 and GWO BTS certifications.
• Possession of personal protective equipment (harness, etc.).
• 100% availability for travel.
• Immediate availability to start working.
