Wind Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks including basic commissioning, component integration, and maintenance jobs on-site and remotely
• Lead or support Heavy Lifts and Large Corrective teams for wind turbine service operations
• Coordinate and resolve product issues for customer equipment while adhering to all applicable regulations
• Analyze and resolve technical problems independently and efficiently in various field environments
• Identify and report all safety incidents or near misses to contribute to a safe working environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of wind experience, preferably including major component exchange, turbine erection, or decommissioning
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and meet body weight restrictions of 265 lbs or less
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Basic computer and iPad proficiency with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel 100% and availability for both day and night shifts
