About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform equipment assessment, troubleshooting, and both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
  • Document all service activities accurately, including parts consumption and task timelines, using digital reporting systems.
  • Train and mentor Wind Technician I employees regarding health, safety, environmental requirements, and preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with project coordination, logistics, planning, and tracking for multi-project work tasks.
  • Participate in company and project health, safety, and environmental meetings and briefings.
  • Communicate technical issues and solutions concisely to leadership.
  • Coordinate with Inventory Control to ensure projects are properly supplied with parts and consumables.
  • Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation schedule.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of wind turbine maintenance, service, and repair experience.
  • Strong understanding of wind turbine systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various outdoor environments.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Vestas platforms (specifically V100 & V110).
  • LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) certification.
