Wind Technician Level II

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs on wind turbines.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC-driven systems on operational units.
• Document all service activities and parts consumption using CMMS digital reporting systems.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA, and LOTO procedures.
• Collaborate with site leads, peers, and clients to ensure project success and effective communication.
• Participate in an on-call 24/7/365 rotation schedule.
• Manage inventory needs by working with Inventory Control to ensure proper supply of parts and consumables.

Requirements

• 2+ years of wind maintenance, mechanical, and technical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work at heights exceeding 300 feet and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Vestas V47 wind turbines.
