Wind Technician I

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and service activities
• Support project teams with assessment, inspection, and troubleshooting tasks
• Document all service activities, including parts consumption and task times, using digital reporting systems
• Participate in company and project health, safety, and environmental meetings and briefings
• Communicate issues and solutions concisely to leadership
• Work with Inventory Control to ensure projects are properly supplied with parts and consumables
• Participate in an on-call 24/7/365 rotation schedule

Requirements

• 1+ years of mechanical, technical, preventative maintenance, or military experience
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in adverse outdoor environments
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• Wind industry exposure or technical school certification
• Experience with Vestas platforms (V100, V110)
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
