Wind Technician I

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on wind turbines
• Support experienced technicians with troubleshooting tasks and repairs
• Document all service activity and parts usage using digital reporting tools
• Participate in daily safety briefings and enforce LOTO procedures
• Communicate technical issues and solutions to site leadership
• Coordinate with Inventory Control to ensure proper supply of parts and consumables
• Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation as needed

Requirements

• 1+ years of mechanical, technical, or military experience
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screening
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Wind industry exposure
• Technical school certification
