About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines in compliance with safety protocols and manufacturer specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
- Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear and recommend proactive maintenance strategies
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure tools and equipment are in top working condition
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to meet project timelines and safety standards
Requirements
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience as a wind technician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work at heights exceeding 300 feet and in varying weather conditions
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards
