WiFi/BT Hardware Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams and external vendors to expedite triage and resolution of hardware integration issues
• Analyze, debug, and resolve WiFi/BT chipset issues using Logcat, dmesg, and QXDM
• Manage NVM and BDF modifications and firmware integration within Qualcomm platforms
• Direct technical engagement with semiconductor vendors to ensure optimal device performance
• Support engineering operations in contract manufacturing factories and labs
• Develop scripting or automation tools using Python or C/C++ for diagnostics and factory tests
• Assist with RF bring-up, validation, and certification processes

Requirements

• Expertise with Qualcomm WiFi/BT chipset architectures
• Proficiency in NVM and BDF modification and firmware integration
• Advanced experience in log data analysis using Logcat, dmesg, or QXDM
• Practical knowledge of Python and C/C++ for automation and debugging
• Experience supporting RF hardware bring-up and wireless certification
• Ability to provide on-site technical support in manufacturing or laboratory settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Qualcomm antenna tuner technologies
• Exposure to SAR management and smart transmit solutions
• Experience driving technical escalations between ODMs, CM partners, and chip vendors
• Proficiency in developing production-level factory test tools
