WiFi/BT Hardware Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams including RF, Antenna, Validation, BSP, and connectivity software to resolve bring up and production hardware issues
• Manage and resolve technical issues with external chip vendors, such as Qualcomm, to ensure device performance and feature reliability
• Perform NVM and BDF modifications and firmware integration within the Qualcomm WiFi/BT chipset ecosystem
• Conduct detailed log analysis using tools like Logcat, dmesg, and QXDM to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively
• Support operations in CM factories or labs, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines

Requirements

• Expertise with Qualcomm WiFi/BT chipset technologies and related ecosystems
• Proficiency in NVM, BDF modifications, and firmware integration specific to Qualcomm platforms
• Experience in log analysis using tools such as Logcat, dmesg, and QXDM
• Experience with tooling and scripting using Python and C/C++
• Familiarity with RF bring-up, factory processes, or SAR/certification processes
• Ability to offer technical support in factory environments or labs

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Qualcomm antenna tuner operations and exposure to SAR/smart transmit/coexistence features
