Wi-Fi Test Automation Engineer 4

Responsibilities

• Validate product quality by analyzing and testing the quality of the code base
• Write and maintain automated, repeatable code to reduce manual testing efforts
• Develop automation for front-end, middleware, and database systems
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track them through bug tracking systems like Jira
• Collaborate with developers and triage engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior engineers
• Contribute to the improvement of QE processes and strategic technology roadmap planning
• Work within an Agile/DevOps environment

Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant work experience
• Hands-on experience in Wi-Fi device testing and protocols
• Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking
• Experience executing CI/CD automation and troubleshooting script-level issues
• Proficiency in automation using various programming languages
• Experience with RDKB
• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of coursework and experience)

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced CCSP architecture design and implementation of TR-069, TR-181, and TR-098 standards
• Experience with Mesh networking architecture and implementation
• Deep understanding of Wi-Fi standards, security frameworks (WPA/WPA2/WPA3), and protocols like Bluetooth, Zigbee, and MQTT
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, and embedded systems development
• Experience with RDKB tech stack and Core networking concepts
• Familiarity with SOC and OEM layers, including Docsis and HAL
• Experience with Docsis 3.1/4.0/FDX and Voice test automation frameworks
• Knowledge of OpenWrt or similar embedded Linux distributions and Yocto
• Proficiency with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump
• Understanding of SDN integration and Cloud-native networking architectures
