Wholesale Buyer

Responsibilities

• Lead the buying function for all Lacoste product departments within the Wholesale Channel.
• Partner with the Sr. Director of Buying and Merchandising and Wholesale Account Managers to set buying strategies and identify market trends.
• Develop and drive appropriate assortments tailored to Wholesale Partners by tier to meet brand goals.
• Manage wholesale pricing structures and margin goals to achieve financial targets.
• Present assortment strategies to wholesale accounts during market appointments.
• Collaborate with Merchandising teams in France regarding seasonal line construction and exclusive/capsule needs.
• Work closely with planning, visual merchandising, and retail teams to manage in-season performance and seasonal deliveries.
• Conduct regular analysis and prepare selling hindsight reports to identify assortment opportunities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Buying or Merchandising role.
• Proven experience managing assortments specifically within a Wholesale channel.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in retail math.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a European corporate office.
• Proficiency with Anaplan.
• A background in sports.
