Wet Paint Sprayer/Applicators

Responsibilities

• Apply wet paint finishes to manufactured components using spray guns and specialized equipment
• Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
• Inspect surfaces before and after application to ensure high-quality coating thickness and finish
• Mix paints and coatings to specified ratios and maintain accurate records
• Identify and correct paint defects as they arise
• Clean and maintain all painting equipment and tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working area in compliance with health and safety requirements

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Wet Paint Sprayer or in a similar industrial role
• Proven experience using spray guns and wet paint application techniques
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and various coating materials
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to follow technical work instructions and specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to read and interpret work orders or basic technical drawings
• Experience maintaining detailed paint mix and quality control records
