Wet Mill Intern Engineer

Responsibilities

• Adjust operating parameters to improve Germen and Gluten yields at the Paraíso plant
• Standardize flow rates, temperatures, times, and best practices
• Implement actions to reduce evaporator COD and improve fiber yield
• Optimize equipment to reduce losses in starch, fiber, and gluten
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in process engineering, quality, and maintenance
• Interact with the Core Team and related areas to implement technical solutions

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the penultimate semester of a Chemical Engineering degree (not graduated)
• Strong understanding of unit operations fundamentals
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, preferably from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (flexible)
• Proactive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge in Power BI
