Wet Chem Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical functions and sample analysis according to documented methods and work procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including AAS, ICP, UV, LECO, and XRF
• Check laboratory equipment and maintain high levels of laboratory maintenance and housekeeping
• Supervise staff to achieve optimal production levels
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and Q&HSE procedures, including wearing required PPE
• Assist in maintaining records, control systems, and equipment maintenance logs
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of low items

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in a similar laboratory position
• Understanding of wet chemical analysis
• Ability to operate AAS, ICP, UV, and XRF instruments
• Technical knowledge and good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in English
