Werkstudent IT & Laborinfrastruktur

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware upgrades (RAM, SSDs) and prepare PCs for current software requirements
• Implement Windows updates on lab PCs and unify operating systems
• Maintain network infrastructure, including updating IP lists, setting up file synchronization, and rolling out backup solutions
• Provide troubleshooting for technical issues within the laboratory environment
• Maintain and update IT documentation

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• Strong proficiency in Windows (including command line and network settings)
• Fundamental understanding of networking (IP addresses, subnets, DNS)
• Hands-on mentality with a passion for working directly with physical hardware
• Ability to work independently and with a high degree of autonomy
• Good communication skills in either German or English
