Responsibilities

• Inspect metallic materials for properties and defects using non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as magnetic particle, dye penetrant, ultrasonic, and radiographic testing.
• Perform destructive testing, including hardness tests and tensile tests on welded connections.
• Ensure the operational safety of components for large hydropower plants and adjustable propellers.
• Participate in group and team-based training projects to link theoretical knowledge with practical metalworking skills.

Requirements

• Completed secondary school education (Mittlere Reife).
• Good knowledge of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and English.
• Strong logical thinking skills and technical understanding.
• Ability to work reliably, independently, and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally following the completion of the apprenticeship.
