About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform independent non-destructive testing (NDT) using VT, RT, UT, MT, and PT methods on thick-walled castings, welds, and forgings
- Conduct acceptance tests at supplier sites, occasionally in the presence of customers
- Execute non-destructive testing at the local site or at power plants, for example, during maintenance revisions
- Create inspection reports and discuss findings with customers when necessary
Requirements
- ISO 9712 Level II qualification in the specified NDT testing methods
- Professional experience in inspecting welds and castings
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of SAP/R3
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work independently and a willingness to travel for occasional national and international assignments
