Welsh Speaking Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions to secondary school pupils
• Support Physical Education departments during lessons and sporting activities
• Supervise classes during teacher absences to ensure a productive learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and healthy lifestyles through sport
• Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and events
• Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and school staff

Requirements

• Fluent Welsh speaker
• Experience working with children or young people
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Confidence working with secondary school-aged pupils (11–16 years)
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Eligibility to work in the UK
