Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, 5-10 years experience in oil and gas completion equipment quality, NDT Level II certification (MPT, UT, LPT, RT, VT), Knowledge of API specifications (API 11D1, 14A, 14L, 19LH, 19SS, 19G1), Experience with premium connections (VAM, Tenaris, JFE, Hunting), Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001, API Q1, or Q2) preferred

About the role
Responsibilities
- Review and approve supplier Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans for Downhole Completion Equipment, OCTG, and Wellhead equipment
- Steward supplier evaluations, facility qualifications, and API Q1 compliance audits
- Lead or support supplier assessments to ensure compliance with ExxonMobil specifications and industry standards (API 11D1, 14A, 14L, 19LH, 19SS, 19G1, etc.)
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and quality performance data to identify trends and mitigate risks
- Supervise verification programs directly or via Third Party Inspectors (TPIs) to ensure conformance
- Assist Wells Engineering staff with the resolution of Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and Requests-for-Exception (RFEs)
- Lead or participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure investigations for equipment non-conformities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in oil and gas completion equipment manufacturing or services within a Quality role
- Minimum CGPA of 7.0 out of 10
- NDT Level II certification in MPT, UT, LPT, RT, and VT
- Strong knowledge of API specifications for completion equipment (API 11D1, 14A, 14L, 19LH, 19SS, 19G1, etc.)
- Experience with premium connections (VAM, Tenaris, JFE, Hunting) and rotary connection inspection
Preferred Qualifications
- Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001, API Q1, or Q2
- Welding certification or experience through a recognized body such as AWS or CSWIP 3.1/3.2
