About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global teams to safely and efficiently execute all Wells activities across the entire well lifecycle.
- Provide engineering modeling for drilling and completions operations using industry-standard software packages.
- Deploy and monitor tools, standards, and processes to drive successful business outcomes for exploration and upstream assets.
- Utilize data, KPIs, and analytical tools to identify and implement performance improvement opportunities for rig teams.
- Conduct lookbacks and benchmarking analysis to identify trends and competitive performance.
- Partner with digital teams and stakeholders to ensure data quality and report key metrics.
- Explore the application of AI in competitive performance work scopes.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline with a minimum CGPA of 7.5.
- Minimum 5 years of upstream industry experience as a Wells Engineer.
- Demonstrated knowledge of wells engineering concepts, including casing design, subsurface hazards, rig equipment, and well control.
- Proficiency in running and interpreting engineering models to improve well performance.
- Significant field experience on a rig or well site as a field engineer or company representative.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a diverse international workforce.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in all aspects of well design, permitting, operations, and associated logistics.
- Experience in performance monitoring, optimization of well KPIs, and benchmarking.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment across different geographies.
