About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one and group fitness assessments
- Recommend individualized fitness programs tailored to resident ability levels
- Teach various exercise classes including boxing and Rock Steading boxing
- Assist with well-being programs including pool operations and scheduling
- Plan, implement, and promote well-being events
- Create and distribute weekly and monthly fitness/event calendars
- Coordinate and schedule well-being contractors
- Participate in Well-Being Committee meetings
- Assist Well-Being Director in implementing Lifestyle initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- One year of experience in group or individual health and fitness instruction
- Experience in event coordination
- Group fitness instruction and/or Personal Training Certification
- CPR/AED Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-7+ years of experience in wellness programs
- ACSM, ACE, NASM, or wellness coaching credentials
- Skills in data analysis and program evaluation
