Wellness Nurse

Responsibilities

• Serve as Charge Nurse in the absence of leadership
• Manage medication administration, storage, and documentation
• Implement resident plans of care and change in condition plans
• Provide accurate documentation in electronic health records
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean and safe
• Manage emergency situations including disasters and fires
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and families
• Supervise care partners and medication assistants

Requirements

• Licensed Vocational Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
• Ability to make independent decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a senior living environment
• LVN/LPN license preferred
