Wellness Nurse

Responsibilities

• Serve as Charge Nurse in the absence of leadership
• Manage medication administration, storage, and documentation
• Implement plans of care and change in condition plans
• Provide accurate and timely resident charting in electronic health records
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean and safe
• Train care partners and medication assistants on resident conditions
• Manage emergency situations including disasters and fires
• Maintain positive relationships with residents and families

Requirements

• Licensed Vocational Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse license
• Two years of experience in senior living preferred
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification
• Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage transitions effectively
