Wellness Coordinator/Hall Director

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and assess theory-based wellness and health-promotion strategies and programs campus-wide.
• Oversee housing operations for Farwell Hall, including check-in/out, room changes, occupancy management, and key inventory.
• Supervise a team of student staff, including Wellness Student Educators, an Assistant Hall Director, and Resident Assistants.
• Develop yearly wellness goals in coordination with the Director of Student Well-Being.
• Create a comprehensive living-learning program for upperclass students in Farwell Hall.
• Collaborate with campus partners such as Athletics, Career Center, and College Ministries to support student development.
• Enforce college and department policies within the residence halls and maintain a safe housing environment.
• Administer budgets for both the student wellness program and Farwell Hall.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (preferred fields include health promotion, public wellness, wellness education, or college student personnel).
• Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to cultivate inclusive and equitable relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
• Willingness to live on-site in the residence halls as part of this live-in position.
• Appreciation for the mission of residential, church-affiliated, liberal arts colleges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in wellness education.
• Previous experience in residence life or student personnel management.
