Wellness Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and lead campus-wide student wellness outreach and health promotion programs.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director of Counseling & Wellness to create a multidisciplinary approach to student well-being, including substance use, suicide prevention, and emotional wellness.
• Plan and evaluate monthly evidence-informed wellness activities and initiatives.
• Create strategic marketing campaigns and disseminate wellness education via social media, web, email, and print.
• Co-lead the College Life Wellness Advisory Committee and the peer education program, including training and supervision of peer educators.
• Maintain a coordinated programming calendar and develop measurable objectives for risk prevention activities.
• Assist in the development and analysis of student wellness surveys and program evaluation tools.
• Ensure principles of inclusion and belonging are reflected in all wellness activities and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, social work, or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of health trends relevant to college students (e.g., mental health, substance use, sleep, and technology usage).
• Experience with marketing and social media platforms to produce compelling content.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to cultivate inclusive and equitable working relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work periodic evening and weekend hours.
• Must have reliable transportation.
