About the role
Responsibilities
- Monitor weld technicians and welding processes to ensure product integrity and quality
- Address flaws in welding equipment in coordination with Maintenance personnel
- Monitor procedures and work instructions to ensure correct welding process execution
- Support improvements to optimize welding material performance
- Validate and maintain records of welding conditions and parameters
- Analyze and submit proposals for performance indicator improvements
- Develop and implement instructions for welding defect rework while ensuring personnel safety
- Collaborate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality/environmental management systems
Requirements
- Technical Degree in a related field or three years of related manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of ISO 14000 and ISO TS 16949 systems
- Understanding of welding standards and production reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database applications
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to lift 25lbs and work overtime as required
