About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete day-to-day activities for assigned areas and projects
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management, engineering, and clients
- Assist with weld setup and equipment mobilization/demobilization
- Operate cranes and forklifts as required
- Maintain general housekeeping and meet assigned project timelines
- Perform other duties as assigned within a machining environment
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Welding Technology or two years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in welding skills as defined by the ATS Welding Technician Training Chart
- Ability to travel on short notice for extended periods
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate high initiative
