Welding Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of welding and allied activities for the Hinkley Point C nuclear construction project
• Liaise with contract partners to ensure welding excellence within a licensed nuclear construction environment
• Maintain high day-to-day welding quality and support individual welders with necessary tools and environments
• Work collaboratively with the SME Team on matters pertaining to welding, pipework erection, and metallurgical controls
• Engage senior management and stakeholders to achieve high-quality welding with low defect rates

Requirements

• Degree or HND/NVQ level 4 in a mechanical or materials-related subject
• Time-served welder
• Significant experience in welding and erection activities on large-scale projects
• Experience working in the nuclear industry or other highly regulated sectors
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
• Excellent organizational, communication, and report-writing skills
