Welding QC Inspector

Responsibilities

• Execute workshop and field welding inspection, surveillance, and Quality Control activities.
• Perform specific measurements for welding procedure qualifications and inspections on materials and equipment.
• Verify welding parameters, consumables, pre-heating, and bevels during welding operations.
• Conduct pipe and pipe fit-up checks to ensure compliance with specifications and material traceability requirements.
• Issue relevant Quality Records and inspection/testing reports in accordance with Inspection Test Plans.
• Update related databases with accurate and complete information.
• Take necessary corrective actions regarding welder repairs and equipment suitability.

Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Solid understanding of Quality Control principles and responsibilities.
• Proficiency in English (conversational level mandatory).
• Willingness to travel abroad as required.
• Must be a resident of Romania with a valid work permit at the time of application.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control roles.
• International welding certification (AWS CWI, CSWIP 3.1, or EWI/IWI approved equivalent).
• Advanced English language proficiency.
