Welding & Mechanical Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs related to welding and mechanical disciplines through stakeholder consultations and performance evaluations
• Develop comprehensive training curricula, lesson plans, and instructional materials tailored to target audiences
• Conduct engaging training sessions, including practical demonstrations and theoretical instruction
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement
• Ensure training programs comply with relevant safety standards, industry codes, and company policies
• Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes
• Stay updated on the latest welding and mechanical technologies, techniques, and best practices
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to align training initiatives with company goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding and mechanical training roles, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, mechanical systems, and industry standards such as ASME, AWS, and API
• Proven experience developing and delivering training programs, including hands-on practical sessions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assess training needs and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East region is a plus
