Welding Inspector

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical and piping systems in accordance with Aramco standards and specifications
• Evaluate the quality of materials and workmanship during the installation and assembly of piping systems
• Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, non-conformances, and recommendations for corrective actions
• Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Perform inspections at various stages of the construction process to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams to rectify any identified issues
• Participate in quality meetings and discussions with stakeholders to communicate inspection findings and address concerns

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical and piping inspection
• Aramco approval as a Mechanical and Piping Inspector
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards including ASME and API
• Experience with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods
• Proficient in using inspection tools and software for documentation
