Welding Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for welding and quality control throughout the entire project lifecycle, from tender to site reception.
• Act as the primary interface between clients, inspection bodies, and internal stakeholders.
• Review and draft technical documentation, including welding procedures (QMOS), NDT specifications, and filler metal approvals.
• Coordinate welding activities on-site for large-scale piping and boiler projects.
• Assist in technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Recommend optimal welding processes based on quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Participate in the compilation of final project documentation (Dossiers de Fin d'Affaires).

Requirements

• Bac+3/5 degree with a specialization in welding (IWT).
• At least 2 years of experience (including apprenticeships/alternance).
• Strong knowledge of DESP / AM 21/11/2017 regulations.
• Proficiency in industry standards: CODETI, CODAP, EN13480, RCCM, EN15614-1, and EN9606-1.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• COFREND 2 certification in RT (Radiographic Testing) or UT (Ultrasonic Testing).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to synthesize complex technical information.
