Welder/Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Safely fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using MIG welder, band saw, shear, metal punch, and measuring tools
• Set-up, operate, and maintain welding equipment
• Determine structurally appropriate weld size and length when documentation does not specify
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints to determine operations, materials, and timeframes
• Provide finished quality work in a reasonable time

Requirements

• High school degree
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn more
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS (or equivalent) certification
• CNC equipment experience (Plasma or Laser)
• Experience programming/operating robotic welding equipment
