Welder

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate TIG, tack, and automatic welding equipment
• Manufacture parts according to engineering standards and specifications
• Perform inspections and testing to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure parts are free of burrs or damaged surfaces
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and proper part identification
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
• Adhere to all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Support team goals by reducing scrap and improving throughput

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 6 months of MIG/TIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprint drawings and planning instructions
• Familiarity with GD&T specifications
• Proficiency using measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to pass Ishihara Color Blindness and Jaeger Level 1 vision testing
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and maintain specific grip strength requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with aerospace materials such as SST, Inconels, Hast X, or aluminum
