Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding to repair and modify metal racks
• Read and interpret blueprints for accurate weld assemblies
• Set up and operate manual and automatic MIG welding equipment
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts into position
• Inspect finished welds and perform spot repairs
• Evaluate returned materials for repair or modification needs
• Record materials used, quantities, and labor time
• Operate a forklift to safely transport materials
• Follow all safety procedures and standard operating guidelines
• Travel occasionally to job sites for on-site work

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of welding experience
• Ability to read blueprints and technical instructions
• Basic math skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials
• Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related welding experience
