Welder

Responsibilities

• Complete high-quality TIG and MIG welds using precision instruments
• Perform cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, and similar fabrication operations for intricate cryogenic assemblies
• Read and interpret technical drawings and supporting documentation
• Follow assembly procedures and sign off on required documentation
• Operate bridge cranes and forklift trucks as needed

Requirements

• 1+ years of welding experience
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding, specifically aluminum vacuum leak-tight TIG welding
• Experience using mechanical assembly tools
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience operating bridge cranes and forklifts
• High school diploma or equivalent
