Welder

Responsibilities

• Complete high-quality TIG and MIG welds using precision instruments
• Perform cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, and similar fabrication operations for intricate cryogenic assemblies
• Read and interpret technical drawings and supporting documentation
• Follow assembly procedures and sign off on required documentation
• Operate bridge cranes and forklift trucks to move materials and components

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional welding experience
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding, specifically performing vacuum leak-tight TIG welds on aluminum
• Experience using mechanical assembly tools
• Ability to operate bridge cranes and forklifts
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work onsite for the 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:20pm-11:30pm)
