About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate MIG welding equipment to perform production welding on medium to heavy parts
- Set up MIG welders and prepare proper gas mixtures as needed
- Run production equipment and perform repairs on production parts to meet customer quality requirements
- Record statistical data, meter/gage readings, and prepare required paperwork
- Work effectively within a team environment and adhere to Quality and Environmental Systems
- Maintain good attendance and follow all safety protocols
Requirements
- Previous experience with production MIG welding
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work in an environment with welding robots
- Physical ability to twist, bend, squat, climb, stand, and walk continuously in close or confined surroundings
