Welder/Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Manufacture detailed parts and assemblies from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and verbal instructions
• Set up work areas based on received instructions and technical requirements
• Operate metal removing and joining tools, machines, and other supporting equipment
• Perform welding and brazing to join metals according to specifications
• Utilize mathematical calculations to ensure precision during machine operation and fabrication

Requirements

• Proven experience in metal fabrication
• Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding processes
• Strong knowledge of various metals and welding/brazing equipment
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations for technical tasks
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
