About the role
Responsibilities
- Welding, cutting, and fitting
- Dry docking vessels for hull repair
- Operating a forklift and hydraulic crane
- Performing firewatch on towing vessels
- Routine dock clean-up and other requested duties
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to walk and lift for extended periods
- Ability to carry more than fifty pounds regularly
- Proficiency in reading and writing English for USCG regulatory compliance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior welding certification
- Experience with vessel maintenance
