Welder III

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced welding, cutting, and assembly activities on metallic structures and components
• Execute welding using MIG/MAG (GMAW), TIG, FCAW (flux-cored), and shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) in various positions (1G to 6G)
• Conduct hot cutting using oxy-fuel processes and abrasive cutting machines
• Prepare equipment, accessories, consumables, and workpieces for welding and cutting tasks
• Perform grinding, alignment, and hot straightening on metallic components
• Maintain safety, health, and environmental standards, following all work instructions and procedures
• Manage tools and equipment by performing regular checklists and identifying defective items
• Contribute to 5S methodology practices, including organization, cleaning, and standardization of the workspace

Requirements

• Completed professional welding certification/course
• Proven experience in industrial welding and cutting activities
• Proficiency in MIG/MAG, TIG, and FCAW welding processes
• Ability to perform oxy-cutting and abrasive cutting
• Knowledge of welding positions ranging from 1G to 6G
