Welder III

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures to set up and operate welding systems
• Weld assemblies according to work orders, blueprints, and verbal instructions
• Follow blueprints and meet product specifications within tight tolerances
• Fabricate various fluid systems and sub-assembly components for rocket engines

Requirements

• 5+ years of welding experience with advanced techniques
• Experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Shipbuilding, or Construction industries
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, ISO, or D17.1
• Proficiency in manual GTAW (TIG), OTW (Orbital Tube Welding), Laser Welding, and Lathe Welding
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Experience welding on .011 - .250
• Certified Welder status
• Ability to work Monday - Thursday (3:15pm - 1:45am)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Inconel, Monel, and Stainless 300-400 series
• Experience working with 3D printed parts and exotic alloys
• Experience in metal fabrication and assembly
• Experience with deburring and using pencil grinders
• Capability to perform welding fit ups and support the grinding department
• Certifications in specialized processes like TIG or Brazing
• Material-specific certifications (Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel)
