Welder II

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced TIG welding tasks with minimal supervision to meet quality and production standards
• Set up, calibrate, and operate automatic and manual welding machines and CNC equipment
• Inspect and check part dimensions using precision gauges and measuring instruments
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to guide production
• Complete accurate production documentation, including labor transactions and quality reporting
• Perform post-weld cleaning operations and support specialized welding tasks
• Adhere to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality standards

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant welding experience
• 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
• 1+ years of experience using general hand and power tools
• U.S. citizenship is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-4 years of minimum relevant TIG welding experience
• Experience with maintenance or automated welding systems
• Familiarity with resistance welding
