Welder II

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality welding operations using electric wire feed equipment according to blueprints, layouts, and work instructions
• Weld metal components in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions to meet strength and quality specifications
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, degreasing, and grinding weld joints or workpieces
• Execute fabrication tasks including cutting metal with oxy/acetylene torches and operating additional welding equipment
• Inspect completed welds to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards
• Follow all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements while supporting CNH Business System (CBS+) initiatives
• Document defects, improvements, and work activities in required systems

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of welding experience or completion of an approved technical welding training program
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints and technical drawings
• Must successfully pass an AWS welding certification test administered by the company
• Physical stamina to perform demands including lifting, standing, bending, and reaching in various welding positions
• Strong attention to detail regarding quality and safety
