Welder

Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to fabricate products
• Weld components using methods such as MIG, TIG, SMAW, or flux-cored arc welding
• Operate, inspect, and maintain welding equipment and related tools
• Assess welded joints for precision and adherence to technical specifications
• Identify and repair weld defects using grinding and cutting tools
• Adhere to all workplace safety standards and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience with Aluminum Fabrication and Welding
• US Citizenship Required
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Welding certification (e.g., AWS)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
• Proficient understanding of metallurgy and materials science

• Strong problem-solving skills to address fabrication or structural issues
• Deep understanding of industry safety standards
