About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and welding tasks for agricultural effluent management equipment in a climate-controlled environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding symbols to ensure precise execution
  • Prepare, trace, and adjust metal parts for assembly
  • Set up and adjust welding or assembly machines according to project specifications
  • Execute assembly including proper tensioning of bolts, hydraulic fittings, and related components
  • Detect and correct welding defects by applying quality control standards
  • Select and appropriately use various wires, electrodes, and gases based on welding processes
  • Operate plasma cutters safely and efficiently
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • DEP or AEC in welding or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 2 years of professional welding experience
  • Fluency in French
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
  • Ability to operate plasma cutters
