Welder Foreman

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate night-shift fabrication operations by supervising welding personnel
• Enforce safety and sanitation regulations and quality standards
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals
• Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
• Conduct employee training in equipment operations and safety procedures
• Monitor production indicators to ensure operators conform to processing standards
• Maintain operations data and employee attendance records
• Confer with management to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and efficiency

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 10+ years of welding experience may substitute for formal education
